It has been brought to our attention that one of our former providers, Shane Carter, sent you a text message and letter soliciting business. Some patients have reached out wondering who he is and why he contacted them, so we are sending this letter to provide clarification.

Shane was only contracted on a temporary and part-time basis last year to help with medication management at our Highland location until we could find a qualified provider with the desired expertise and availability to support a more holistic and comprehensive psychiatric practice. As planned with Shane since the commencement of his work with us, his involvement was terminated in conjunction with the hiring of this new team member. 

 

We are pleased to announce that Jamie Lange, PMHNP has joined Ampelis Health. She will be working full-time in our Highland location – offering both in-person and virtual support to patients.  Beyond traditional medication management, her expertise and ability to help patients understand factors promoting and inhibiting mental wellness are remarkable.

 

In addition to our excitement about Jamie, we are delighted to share that next month we will begin offering additional services that are sometimes characterized as “integrative psychiatry.” This means that in addition to understanding and addressing patient symptoms we will use a comprehensive approach to understand the many different factors that contribute to mental wellness. Following this evaluation, a multi-disciplinary team will collaborate to provide evidence-based support to patients including use of micronutrients, access to group courses (topics to include mindfulness, nutrition, relationships, values, and more), transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), as well as more traditional forms of medication therapy and psychotherapy.
