Dr. Jessica Jones, MD
Highland, Utah
Dr. Jones is dually board certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She is the medical director and lead psychiatrist for Ampelis Health Highland. Her work at Ampelis focuses on providing transcranial magnetic stimulation for individuals with treatment refractory depression and anxiety disorders. She has a passion for helping individuals of all ages reach their goals and thrive through each chapter of their lives. She provides compassionate, patient-centered, and evidence-based psychiatric care. She is a member of the Clinical TMS Society and has attended their annual meeting and trainings.
She completed medical school at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center and trained in General Psychiatry at the University of Oklahoma- School of Community medicine in Tulsa, OK. After completing a fellowship at the University of Utah in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, she worked with Utah Center for Evidence Based Treatment providing psychiatric care and running the dialectical behavioral therapy group for transitional age adults. For the last five years, she has worked with individuals with severe mood disorders, anxiety disorders, neurodevelopmental disorders at Intermountain Health.
She has experience in mental health outpatient program development, co-founding the Adolescent DBT program at Utah Valley Psychiatry and Counseling.
She is committed to supporting the mental health community and has served on the board of the Utah Psychiatric Association.
