Jamie Lange, PMHNP

Highland, Utah

Jamie Lange is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She was born and raised in Indiana, where she completed her first degree in biology, and moved west to pursue her love of the mountains and a second degree in nursing. She began her nursing career in 2012 at the state psychiatric hospital in Las Vegas, NV and proceeded to gain experience in other areas of nursing including medical-surgical, acute rehabilitation, fertility, hospice, and geriatric psychiatry. During the height of the pandemic, she worked as a crisis nurse in multiple cities where she witnessed first-hand the effects of trauma and burnout. Jamie’s continued passion for mental health care combined with her motivation to make a greater impact within the field led her to obtain a Master of Science in Nursing at University of Colorado in 2022. After graduation, she moved to Utah to create a home with her husband, who works full-time with the Utah Army National Guard.

Jamie’s wide array of experience and training has helped her develop a compassionate, empathic, and holistic approach to mental health treatment. She believes that an individual’s mental health is shaped by their own unique life experiences, including childhood, trauma, relationships, lifestyle, health, and environment. She strives to form trusting relationships with clients, facilitating the collaboration of a personalized treatment plan based on individual needs and evidence-based practices. Ultimately, she is passionate about reducing the stigma of mental health and helping those affected rediscover their own passions and increase their overall quality of life.

In her free time, you can find Jamie going on outdoor adventures with her husband. She especially enjoys rock climbing, mountain biking, skiing, canyoneering, and backpacking.
