Kara is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) who supports individuals navigating substance use, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She is passionate about helping those who feel overwhelmed or stuck build insight, develop coping skills, and create meaningful change.
Kara takes a person-centered, collaborative approach, focusing on each client’s unique strengths and needs. Known for her empathy, directness, and compassion, she creates a space where clients feel respected, understood, and supported in their growth. She integrates evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI to help clients better understand themselves and move forward with confidence.
Kara earned her Master of Social Work from Weber State University and her bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. She is committed to providing ethical, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care that supports emotional regulation, self-awareness, and lasting change.
Outside of the office, Kara enjoys spending time outdoors, running races, reading a good book, and connecting with family and friends. She is also passionate about advancing mental health awareness and social justice in her work and the broader community.
