LAKEN LAMBERT, PMHNP-BC

MURRAY CLINIC & VIRTUAL

After completing a Bachelor of Science in psychology, she pursued a career in psychiatric nursing. She began her nursing career as a psychiatric nurse at the University of Utah, initially working in the treatment-resistant mood disorder clinic and then transitioning to inpatient psychiatric nursing with children and adolescents. During this time, she completed her education and training to become a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

The trajectory of her career has been in alignment with her goals to provide holistic and patient-centered care. Her education, training, and experience have refined her skills and affirmed her rationale for pursuing a career in healthcare.

In her free time, she enjoys hiking with her dog, Nova, ice-skating, writing, making playlists, and drawing. Her favorite quote is one that she read on a fortune cookie when she was in high school, which said “a man who carves himself to suit everyone will soon whittle himself away.” She values authenticity, curiosity, humor, compassion, community, and growth.
