MARYSA ANDERSON-CARDWELL, MS, RDN, CPT
ASSISTS CLIENTS AT ALL CLINIC LOCATIONS
Marysa has been passionate about nutrition and its effects on mental health since her time as a psychiatric technician at a behavioral health unit during her undergraduate studies in Psychology at the University of Utah. There, she witnessed firsthand the benefits of good nutrition, sleep, fresh air, movement, and sunshine for mental health—an experience that inspired her to pursue a graduate degree in nutrition.
She completed her Master’s degree from the University of Alabama and a dietetic internship through Utah State University. Since 2016, Marysa has specialized in nutrition for mental health, substance abuse, and eating disorders. She describes herself as an “eating cheerleader,” offering encouragement and positive support to help clients build a healthier relationship with food and develop habits that enhance their overall wellbeing.
Marysa believes that balance is essential. She works collaboratively with clients to create practical, sustainable solutions for their health and wellness, emphasizing that real change comes from reasonable, long-term habits.
She is a master’s-level Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and a Certified Personal Trainer (CPT) through the American College of Sports Medicine. Outside of her work, Marysa enjoys spending time with her husband and kids, hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, cooking, and reading.
